And The Greens Have It

Thank you for your hundreds of votes, comments and personal emails. We read every one of them with glee!
It was so close, but choice #3 emerged as the new Supersock Solid color favorite. Unfortunately, we had a problem with the name. Envy was the overwhelming choice and we believe it was first suggested by Senja on July 21st -- love your blog BTW -- but it looks like Lorna's Laces is using that name for a green they have. And you know how much trouble we go into over Nantucket Red!
After some deliberation, we felt it was safer to go with Pesto which received the second most votes but does not seem to be any one else's hand dyed solid color. Ali, we believe you are the winner. Please call us or email us so that we can send you the first bag.
Anyone else who wants to try Pesto, please let us know. We will have it ready to ship within the next month and will have a short list of stores that will be carrying the first run of this yummy green. Thank you for your help picking and naming. We actually liked your names for all of the colors and are sorry we could not introduce all 6 at once.
In fact, we are not convinced that we should have not picked #4 as well and called it Gingersnap. Maybe this fall?

I adore that green. When it arrives in my store in a month, you can bet that it will be cast on for a lovely pair of socks!
