Fashion Show
If you missed the fashion show, we did give away a Hobnail Wrap from the Fall issue of Knitters, and we will be dyeing more of them for you. Retail is $140 but get the kit from us for just $108 while supplies last. The kits come in Dove Gray only, as shown in the magazine.

If you want to knit this garment in colorways, select 3 hanks of Alpaca Bulky from the colorways page and we will send them all same dyelot.

The black and white scarf worn by the handsome male model will be in the Winter Issue of Knitters. It is called Strips and Stripes and is knit with Supersock Select Semi Solids. We already have the yarn kitted up at a great price--regular price is $44, but get it from us for just $36.

Rings of Supersock was a show stopper, as usual. The pattern is available here for $9.

Our newest garment in the fashion show was the Sheridan Circular Shawl knit from our new Suri Lace Semi Solids. The shawl is shown in the color Azure and the pattern is available for the first time, too. It takes two hanks of Suri Lace to knit this innovative shawl. We have the pattern available for $9 and the Semi Solids of Suri Lace for $25. Each hank is 100% Suri and has 466 yards.

Just in Time for Stitches East

Dear Bloggies:

Sorry it's been two weeks since I've posted.  My youngest daughter, Barrel Girl, had a knee injury and I had to fly to Arizona at a moment's notice last week.  From Vermont, getting to Arizona in one day was quite a feat.  Roving Lion and I had to fly stand by with no luggage.   Very nice people gave us seats on flights that were overbooked and it took us less than 24 hours to get to Prescott, which is north of Phoenix.

What we found out was that her knee was not that bad and our little barrel racer will not need surgery.  She is, however, going to miss her first rodeo.  (You've heard of the saying "This is not my first rodeo" ?  Well, it would have been hers ...)  After getting Barrel Girl settled with crutches, medication and a series of physical therapy appointments, we flew back home.  We did manage to spend a day in the beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona, plus we saw a few Anasazi cliff dwellings along the way.

We arrived home just in time to do our laundry and drive to Stitches East.  Stop by and see us in our booth.  If we looked dazed and confused, it's because of jet lag.  You
probably know that we are one of the Stitches sponsors. Garments from Knitter's Magazine will be in the fashion show, plus we are giving away kits as prizes.
